If Britain is to meet the new renewable-energy target announced earlier this month then nearly 10,000 wind turbines will be installed on land and sea by 2020.  Please check back for updates on a regular basis as we will continue to monitor the debate and add some of the more interesting articles that have appeared in both the local and national press.

New Articles

Grantham Journal

These articles in particular are following the activities of BLOT an action group that has been setup to fight a wind farm that has been proposed for the Vale of Belvoir.  A formal planning application has been submitted by Infinergy and we would strongly urge you to follow the outcome of this application by visiting the BLOT website.  Over 1000 letters of objection have been submitted to SKDC.

The Grantham Journal has a Windfarm Debate area set-up on their website where they are following the progress of wind farm development in the area. Follow this link to view all articles todate:

Spalding Today

These articles will help you better understand the issues surrounding the noise created by the turbines sited at Deeping St Nicholas.  Mr & Mrs Davis, one of the families who have been adversely affected, have very kindly offered to come and give a talk to our community so please do check the News and Events section of this site for dates.
